Job Summary:

Lead data analysis, risk assessment, and fraud prevention strategies to drive smarter decisions and safeguard business integrity. You’ll analyze trends, build predictive models, monitor real-time risk indicators, and collaborate across teams to implement effective, data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Insights
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and risks using tools like Excel, SQL, and Python.
  • Deliver actionable insights and visualizations to support strategic and risk-related decisions.
  • Risk Management & Modeling Develop and maintain risk assessment models to evaluate business exposures and enhance decision-making.
  • Monitor key risk indicators and help implement fraud detection and prevention strategies.
  • Data Collection & Process Optimization Collect and organize data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and completeness.
  • Improve workflows through process automation and optimization initiatives.
  • Project Management & Implementation Lead and support data-driven projects from requirement gathering to execution. Coordinate implementation of risk mitigation measures across departments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with teams such as Marketing, Operations, IT, and Finance to align data strategies with risk controls and business goals.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation Stay current with analytics and risk management tools, including machine learning applications for predictive modeling and fraud detection

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Data Science, Risk Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in data analysis, risk management, fraud detection, or a related field (internships considered).
  • Proficiency in Excel (including VBA and Power Query), SQL, and Python.
  • Strong statistical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and spot anomalies or risk exposures.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Required language(s): English & Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
